Power Tool Link Party #1

February 15, 2012

We're well on our way into demo of the bathroom, but I'm really excited today to introduce a new little feature on the blog.

I've partnered up with Rachel from A Home in College Hill to throw a monthly link party, where you ladies (and guys, too!) can link up your projects that you've built using power tools.

First Home Dreams

Need something to inspire and motivate you? Check out this building plan catalogue from the amazing Ana White.

The link party will be open for the next 10 days. I really hope you'll link something up, and spread the word to your other handy friends! Grab the code above to link back to the party from your post.

Now get out those tools!

Participate in the "Power Tool Link Party"

Hosted by A Home in College Hill and First Home Dreams

Are you a woman who can wield a circular saw, or hammer drill? Do you want to be? Do you give the pro’s a run for their money? Are you a guy who can MacGyver anything with cordless drill and some fishing line? This is your opportunity to link-up your most recent power tool project with others.

Link Party Rules:

  • Click through the other linked-up posts and leave a comment on at least one.
  • Link up your own power-tool post. Any project you've posted about that involved the use of a power tool qualifies.
  • Add a link in your post back to to the blog where you are partying.

What a great link up idea! Depending on how far we get this week & over the long weekend we might have a build ready. Either way I will definitely be checking back to see what other projects people tackle. :)

I hope you're able to link up! Participation will probably be pretty low the first go around, but I'm hoping that it picks up as we continue to run it!
Very cool idea!

I hope so! I know there are a TON of handy women out there, but the majority of link parties seem really focused on crafting and spray painted furniture (not that there's anything wrong with either of those!).
Power Tools + Shannon = Andy has a heart attack. Last time I used a drill I made a sizable hole in the wall. Oops.

Ahahaha. Whenever I tell Mike I hurt myself doing something he says "we're you being careful?". The answer is usually "not really".
Fun link party! I haven't done any projects recently with power tools or I'd definitely like it up. I'll do it in the future though!

Yay! Definitely keep it in mind. Feel free to link up an older project, too!
I will have to join in later power tool link parties because I don't yet have a finished product on my blog that shows what I've done with a power tool. So when I get to posting something in that category, I'm totally gonna link it up :)

I don't have any power tool projects I made. I have some cupcakes. Should I link those up? :)

Ahaha, did you use an electric drill with a batter beating attachment? :)
I need to get my tools out and get to work!

Yeaah! Especially with that new house in your hands!
So, can I talk about something I've done in the past? I built a dog house recently... maybe I can do that...

You absolutely can! Link it up to the next party (coming March 15th).
Students should think about essay writing as a profession. They can earn lots of money if the will write good essays. They can utilize their education to make it happen in their life.
